Updates

I am have been doing lots of shooting, but not a lot of sharing. In the next couple of weeks, I will have my page updated with all of my fun images. Thanks for stopping by.

Baby Laynie

While Josh and I were home in Indiana, we took a day trip down to Indy. I got to hang out with my sister in law Jessie and take photos of baby Laynie. It was so worth the trip down to her house. Great times with her and with getting to know Laynie.

Baby Jackson

I had the opportunity to shoot baby Jackson Maijala when he was six days old. Here are some of my favorites. More to come for his 3 months b-day. Maybe mom and dad will join in those shots then...

About Me:

From the plains of the Midwest to the beaches of Southern California to the desert sands of Arizona, Sara Grise has traveled across the country embracing the varied cultures, landscapes and people through her award winning photography.

Ms. Grise first began to view the world through a camera lense in the heart of Indiana by capturing the spirit of America’s heartland in towns like Elkhart, South Bend, and Warsaw, Indiana. Her camera took her south to West Lafayette where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in photography from Purdue University, all the while playing for the school’s nationally ranked water polo team.

Upon graduation Ms. Grise went west, studying at the world renowned Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. The contrast between the harsh winters of Indiana and the endless summers of Southern California shaping her into a well rounded, adaptable photographer, with a grasp of texture, light, and scenery that has become her distinct style.

Ms. Grise now resides in Phoenix, AZ where she continues her photography, her learning and her living. Joined by her husband, her two rescue dogs and her cat Stoli she would love the chance to capture the moments in your life that should be saved for a lifetime.
